✴About The Artist✴

I am a UK-based mixed media artist with a deep-rooted passion for all forms of creativity, my artistic inspiration is drawn from the beauty I observe in nature and the experiences of everyday life. Additionally, I find inspiration in the trials and tribulations that shape our human experience. By blending these elements with my ideas that are derived from my dreams I create artwork where reality and imagination intertwine.

Growing up in the county of Buckinghamshire, my fascination with art began at an early age. This interest was sparked by my childhood love for the immersive and enchanting worlds depicted in fantasy books. These stories fueled my imagination and inspired me to create my own art. My parents played a significant role in nurturing my artistic talents. They recognized my enthusiasm and provided me with all of the art materials i could possibly need. This support and encouragement allowed me to develop a creative outlet where I could freely express my vivid imagination.

At the age of 15, I encountered a pivotal moment in my artistic journey. Frustrated by the lack of exploration and diversity in my art GCSE class, I sought to push the boundaries of my creativity beyond the classroom. I began to create art that represented both my external surroundings and my internal world, capturing the essence of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This period of self-discovery and experimentation further ignited my passion for art and solidified my commitment to pursuing it as a lifelong endeavor.
After this, I decided to study art in college to give myself more freedom to explore my creativity and connect with other creative people. Although I enjoyed the freedom and the friendships I made in college, I found myself spending more time on the art I created at home rather than focusing on my class projects.
Upon completing college, I was offered a tattoo apprenticeship. This opportunity was both exciting and challenging, as it introduced me to a new medium and a different aspect of the art world. The apprenticeship taught me valuable lessons about marketing myself and embracing my unique artistic voice. I learned how to present my work to potential clients and the importance of standing out in a competitive field. This experience made me realise that creating art was not just a hobby, but my true passion.

Through my art, I aim to convey the parts of myself that i cannot fully articulate and I hope that my art serves as a reflection of the beautiful love and light that exists in the world, while also acknowledging the necessary balance and contrast that life presents. Ultimately, my aspiration is to inspire others to embrace their own creativity and find their unique voice through art. I believe that art has the power to transcend the boxes that humans put themselves in and create true connections, while bringing about a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
